Scientific approach to Geo Hazard: a window to the future

The second international meeting is organized by Antonio Caprai, researcher of Cnr-Igg and president of the international organization.

The scientific program consists of oral and poster presentations on all aspects of natural hazards. It is focused on different research areas, such as earthquakes, landslides, volcanoes, tsunami anthropogenic activities, dam instability, man-induced geohazards.

Igrs (International geo-hazards research society) is an international non-profit society of more than 100 scientists - geologists, geophysicists, geodesists, physicists, chemists, mathematicians and engineers - from 40 countries based in Dresden, Germany. Through its network of international members, it is dedicated to the dissemination of scientific information in the field of geo-hazards.
